Red Roof Inn PLUS+ Galveston - Beachfront

The location and friendly staff are hard to beat for the price. The rooms are big, clean, and have what you need, though you get what you pay for in terms of the room itself. There are washers and a drinks machine, but you’ll need cash. It’s about a mile from Pleasure Pier and right across from a beach ramp. That’s the main reason I love it: it’s pet friendly, and my old girl can’t manage the stairs to the beach.

The staff and manager went out of their way to help me look for something very valuable that I lost during my stay, and I’m so thankful for their effort. The location was great, and they let us park for a week while my family went on a seven-day cruise from the Port of Galveston. Thank you, Red Roof Inn and staff.

I can’t say enough good things. Our room was spacious and clean, with a very comfortable bed, and the service was impeccable. The price was affordable too. I’ll definitely stay here every time I come to Galveston.

I’m not usually someone who complains or writes reviews, but this was bull crap. I found blood stains all over the bedsheets and asked for clean ones and a refund. The front desk staff yelled at me for asking. Then I showed them pictures of the massive cockroaches in my room, and they still wouldn’t do anything. The worker was a middle-aged Indian man named sam. This is probably the worst experience I’ve ever had. I wouldn’t recommend Red Roof Plus even to my worst enemies, and I’ll be contacting the corporation’s higher-ups.
