Our stay was awful, and I would tell people to avoid this hotel. When we came back to check in after leaving for dinner, staff told us my parents' room had been given away, even though the reservation was confirmed. Earlier, the lobby had been packed, with about 24 guests waiting, so we'd left and returned hoping the line would be shorter. The room we eventually got was filthy: used, dirty towels, feces visible in the toilet, and dirty bedding. We went down to calmly report it, but staff offered no fix and told us to leave. They called police and made us leave without a refund. The responding officer said on body camera that we'd be refunded, but I ultimately had to dispute the full charge through Chase Travel to get my money back. We also saw guests being told to clean their own rooms, and the lobby bathrooms were locked. Staff dared us to “call corporate,” saying the hotel was independently owned and operated and corporate “can’t do anything.” That attitude, along with the hostility and threats, made it seem like management didn't care about cleanliness, guest safety, or service. This was one of the worst hotel experiences I've had.

The breakfast didn't come close to what the website promised. It said there would be a full hot breakfast with plenty of choices, but all we found was a waffle maker, cereal, toast, and mini muffins. The coffee ran out, and we were told it would take about 15 minutes to refill. It felt misleading. The shuttle arrangements were frustrating too. When we booked in August 2025, we asked about getting from the airport and were told the service was available and to call once we had our flight details. In December, I called to book it; they took my information and said Dee Singh, who coordinates shuttle requests, would confirm. Four weeks passed without a call, so I started calling weekly. Even the week we arrived, there was still no confirmation. Amil, who I was told is the manager's husband, promised I'd get a call, but two days later nothing had come. When I called again, they finally said there would be no shuttle from February 13th, our arrival date, through the first week of March. We had to scramble for other transport at the last minute. The lack of follow-up and basic communication showed little regard for our plans. I submitted a complaint to corporate, though I doubt anything will come of it. Between the poor service and amenities that didn't match what we'd been promised, this was a very disappointing stay, and I wouldn't recommend it.

The charge for printing anything is $5, and the shuttle to the port costs $10 per person. There were four of us, so it came to $40 for a trip of less than two miles. At 11am, an XL Lyft was $30, or just $20 at 9am. The extra charges really add up. The Saturday night rate was $128, apparently raised for cruise guests, while Sunday night was $73. To me, this is more like a $60-a-night hotel. There was a strong moldy, musty smell at the entrance, and wallpaper and paint needed repairs all over. Our room was sort of clean; the beds were hard and the pillows awful. There was no top sheet, which could bother anyone with sensory issues. At least there were no bed bugs. The hot breakfast claim amounted to a waffle maker, some fruit, cereal, and a few mini muffins. Hope this helps the next person.

We were short-staffed that day, and I understand that, but some basic standards still matter. Our friends' room wasn't ready when we arrived at 5:30pm, despite check-in being at 3. Their bathroom was filthy, with poop spray on the toilet seat and bowl and a dirty tub. Another guest repeatedly asked for towels to bathe her kids, but by 6pm there were no clean towels. Police were called about an irate customer who was asked to leave. Our own room was clean, thankfully, including the bedding and bathroom. But there were no washcloths, just one hand towel and two bath towels, one paper thin with several holes. There are no hooks or towel racks in the bathroom, nor a floor mat, so wet towels have nowhere to go but the countertop. The bed had a flat sheet over the comforter but none beneath it, between the person and comforter. Comforters don't get washed as regularly as sheets. I don't recommend this hotel.

I also had to listen to the neighbors' nightly activities, though thankfully my child was asleep and I didn't have to explain it. There was a butt print on the headboard too. The room smelled bad, we had no towels, and there was dried snot on my daughter's comforter. The water pressure was terrible, and the breakfast was tiny and awful. One worker was in his car smoking a joint every time I went outside. The worst part was how they handled my service dog. They refused the dog, and even after I showed them the ADA law saying they couldn't demand paperwork, an employee insisted on proof. I usually carry the papers but stopped after the rules changed so proof wasn't needed. I explained a hotel can ask only two questions: whether it's a service dog and what it's for. She wouldn't check the ADA website, refused to call a supervisor, and said a psychiatric service dog was emotional support. I explained that it isn't when a doctor writes a letter requesting the need, but she refused the letter. This was by far the rudest, nastiest hotel I've stayed in.
