The staff are friendly, and the location is convenient, but the place feels pretty dated and the balcony is so tiny you can’t even stand on it. Our room smells like cigarette smoke. I’ve called twice about it, and nobody has said or done anything. I’m pregnant, so it’s the last thing I want to be breathing, especially in a building that’s supposed to be smoke-free.

We own six weeks here, so clearly we love the place. It’s quieter than staying up in town, and the view of the ocean and pier makes up for the dated interiors and odd new TVs that don’t get regular cable. The units are clean, and housekeeping is the best. The office staff, including the ladies and Josh, are welcoming, helpful, and always have great attitudes. You don’t have to fight to find a spot for your towels on the beach. There’s an ice cream shop attached to the building, and the pier is right next door. The whole building was taken down to rebar and studs this year, so the years of storms and age have been addressed. Have an awesome vacation! LMM

The ocean view and sound were great, and the room was clean when we arrived. The shower pressure was good too. But for the price, these were only okay accommodations. The pool was being rebuilt, there was no ice machine or lobby restroom, and the ice cream shop was completely gone, which we didn’t know until we got there. Getting to the beach meant walking through a dune jungle. We couldn’t figure out how to watch anything on the TV without entering personal Netflix, Amazon, or other credentials. There were no local news channels, and the free national news channels showed the previous day’s news. Smokers had to go to the parking lot or risk a $250 fine from “Big Brother.” Probably won’t return.

We had a lovely stay. It’s a little dated, but clean and comfortable, and the air conditioning really works, lol. The staff were attentive and very friendly. Shops, bars, and restaurants are all together in a nearby little square. If you fish, you can pay $20 to use the pier for your whole stay. Bring your own rod or rent one. I’d definitely recommend it!
