Being right on the beach was the best part. The coffee maker in Unit 306 had moldy grounds stuck inside, so we couldn’t use it, but the property manager brought us a new one. The place wasn’t cleaned very well overall and could use a deep clean, repairs, and updates.

James has a really nice condo, and we enjoyed staying there for our family vacation. There’s plenty of guest parking, easy beach access, an elevator, and a clean, well-maintained pool.

The views are lovely, and the condos and pool sit right on the beach, which is why we came. The building looks dated from outside and could use a spruce-up, though the owners keep the condo interior maintained.

We still had a great girls’ weekend, and the location is convenient, but I won’t stay at this property again. The building is dated, and our arrival was stressful: I was given the wrong door code twice before finally getting the right one on the third try. Around 6 pm that day, a maintenance man knocked loudly, then opened the door before I could get out of the room. He scared me and my three girls, who are 12, 13, and 14. I stopped the door with my foot. He said he was “checking on things,” and left after I told him off for opening the door. He apologized, but I still don’t know why he was there. I called the office the next morning to report it. The front desk woman already knew and said he was “just trying to do his job.” The next night, at 9:07, the owner of the unit above the pool told my girls to get out because the pool was closed. It’s open until 10. I asked if he knew the closing time, and he said he was an owner and told me to read the sign. I said we had, and asked if he was confused since it was only 9:07. He mumbled something ending in “sorry” and went inside.
