4 Mi to Dtwn Gatlinburg: Condo w/ Pool Access

We left a day early because we didn't want to spend the trip trying to recover in a cockroach infested condo. The place was filthy, smelled strange when we arrived, and had a nasty looking wet patch on the carpet. We found roaches everywhere, and I posted photos on other review sites. We also bought Dollywood tickets through them, which I wouldn't recommend. Buy them from Dollywood instead. After we got sick and learned we had Covid, we called customer service to ask about a refund or other options because we didn't want to go to the park and spread it. The person we spoke with, Lexie or Lexi, was rude and said we were basically out of luck because they don't offer refunds. It was disgusting that they seemed to prefer us going into the theme park over refunding a service we couldn't use. I can't stress enough how much I regret staying here. The room was filthy and the customer service was rude and didn't seem to care about quality.

The condo had amazing views and a heated indoor pool with two jacuzzi tubs. Ski mountain hasn't changed, but the steep drop offs and blind turns on the way up and down make the drive a bit nerve wracking. The road is only wide enough for two smart cars.

We booked a week in building 3, but left halfway through. The place was a complete letdown, with poor construction and shared hallways that let every bit of neighbor noise through. One group played loud music by the pool until 10 at night, and many units are vacation rentals that seem poorly maintained. There was a huge heap of mattresses, appliances and trash at the entrance all week. The property needs major upkeep: peeling paint, rotten wood, neglected landscaping, overflowing gutters, sloped floors and sagging roofs. Only about half the property has a decent view. Ours looked straight at the parking lot or tall trees, despite the long climb up the mountain. I wouldn't recommend spending your time or money here.

The views were fabulous, and we saw bears in the morning and a coyote late at night!
