The upstairs window didn’t lock, which worried me. Someone could climb up and open it, and a bear might get in if it smelled food. I also slept badly because sound traveled everywhere, downstairs and even outside. I’ve lived in a cabin and never heard noise carry like that. That’s not something I’d expect as a cabin issue. The hot tub water smelled moldy and was murky by the second day. I used to own a hot tub and lived down the street off Glades road, so I know the water needs chemicals. Refilling it each time isn’t enough, and skipping chemicals is against the law. The cabin allows dogs, which is fine, but there were hairs all over our sheets. The cleaners should have caught that. I’m guessing the only review here is from the owners, and I think some of these problems may have been the rental management’s or cleaners’ fault. I would have sent this privately, but nobody asked how our stay was or invited us to leave a review. Hopefully the public review gets that window fixed.
