Bear Crossing Cabin by Jackson Mountain Rentals

The cabin was clean, and the nighttime view over Gatlinburg was fantastic. We still had a nice stay, but the trash behind the property was hard to ignore. It was overwhelming, and seeing a family of bears around it was sad. The trash really took away from the experience, so I wish they would clean it up. Christmas decorations were still up, though I didn’t mind since it snowed and felt like Christmas. The snow even covered some of the trash. There were several problems inside, too. The downstairs shower didn’t work, the hot and cold taps on the middle-floor tub were reversed, and the hot tub wasn’t working. We were told it had been out of order for months, even though it was still advertised, and we didn’t get our money back for it until we arrived. There’s also a leak in the second-floor bedroom from the bathroom above. There could be mold, but we were just told to keep the shower curtain in the tub. The owners may need a new maintenance company.
