We even spotted a bear along the creek! The walk to the strip is about half a mile, which worked fine for us, though it might feel like a bit much to some. The courtyard and pool are lovely, and everyone we dealt with was friendly. Our room was clean and spacious. Breakfast was great, though I wish it stayed open past 9:30 a.m. on weekdays. The evening reception was good value, and the bartenders were quick, so we never waited long. We’d absolutely stay here again.

We spent a whole day enjoying the resort, with the outdoor seating and fire pits, pools, water slides, lazy river, and outdoor hot tub keeping us busy. The location also made it easy to get to nearby attractions while still feeling calm and family-friendly. Our room was comfortable, spacious, and clean, and housekeeping did a great job. The property felt cared for throughout. Staff were welcoming and helpful, and breakfast had plenty of choices to get the day started. For the accommodations, amenities, and service, we thought the price was very good. It was a great first visit to the Smokies, and we’d happily come back.

The outdoor amenities are a highlight, and the trolley stops right outside. The hotel sits among the trees between two creeks, and bears are often around. Rooms facing the woods or mountain at the back seem to be where they hang out, and they also walk along the retaining wall by the pool. Staff were excellent and very kind. A few things kept this from being a five star stay. Our beds were very hard and uncomfortable, and some outlets kept tripping the circuits. During a basketball tournament, a group of kids stood and climbed on the outdoor slide and its steel supports. Smaller children couldn't use it safely, and I saw one slide into an older child standing there. Parents need to keep an eye on their kids, though the hotel could supervise the pool more closely too. The biggest frustration was the $15 daily parking charge. The lot is huge, so I don't see a reason for the fee. Still, we'd definitely stay again.

The team made our conference feel like a shared success. They were professional, proactive, and kind, and handled every challenge our group brought up with grace and efficiency. We hosted the event at Embassy Suites Gatlinburg, and the conference space worked well for both sessions and networking. The hotel was in pristine condition, with spacious, modern rooms that made a comfortable place to rest after meetings. Planning and hosting everything went smoothly from beginning to end. It would work well for a corporate event or a mountain getaway. We’ll be back.
