The front desk staff were friendly, willing to help, and very upbeat about the room, town, and trolley service. They also warned us about bears, which are common around Gatlinburg. The hotel itself felt dated, and the room was plain and below what I’d expect for the price. The mattresses were uncomfortable. If there have been renovations, they seem limited to extra paint. The outdoor decks were small and offered no privacy. The elevator also made me uneasy, and I would have liked to see its maintenance schedule posted. New lighting and an update to the little glass elevator would help. We checked out the pool, but the chemicals seemed so strong they burned your eyes. I’d rather spend a bit more for better comfort and amenities, and I wouldn’t stay here again even at half the price.

It was handy having a trolley stop right at the edge of the parking lot, and rides are free. The hotel is a bit of a walk from downtown, but not too bad. Being just outside the center also made it quieter and let us use the back roads to avoid as much downtown traffic. The rooms were clean and spacious, with comfortable beds and lots of pillows. There are two pools for different weather and seasons, plus a hot tub and an on-site cafe. The staff were so friendly, especially John, who checked us in, shared all the information we needed, and answered our questions. We really enjoyed our stay and would come back.

We had a fantastic trip and always love coming to Gatlinburg. My one complaint is the breakfast buffet, which felt overpriced for food you could get complimentary at a hotel. Becky was friendly and knowledgeable at check-in, and John at the front desk was amazing when he helped us sort out an issue with our room. Thank you!

Every staff member was kind and caring, and the environment was great and family friendly. We loved the indoor pool and the food at the hotel restaurant. My favorite moment was Mary handing out hot chocolate and making sure everyone knew not to drink through the straw right away so we wouldn’t burn ourselves. We’ll definitely stay here again.
