Laurel Inn Condominiums

We saw bears every day during our stay in condo 311. It was also very clean, nicely decorated, and in a great location. My husband and I would happily recommend staying here.

We were lucky enough to spot a bear in the parking lot, and there are steps behind the place that lead to the Strip in about a 10-minute walk. I stayed in 411. It felt like a little home away from home when visiting Smokey’s, with everything inside neat and well kept. Getting in and out was seamless, and all the details were online, so we never needed to call service. The kitchen had what we needed to make food. The bed was noisy, but manageable. The corner rooms seemed to have more harmless beetles outside and on the balcony, so I’d avoid those.

We’re in #502, and the noise from the upstairs renter has been awful. It sounds like a child banging a toy and running around all day, from 6 am until 9 or 10 pm. My husband and I have had bad headaches for two days from the constant racket. I never dealt with anything like this, even back when I lived in an apartment.

The location worked perfectly, with downtown Gatlinburg about a 0.3-mile walk using the staircase behind the condominium, and the pool was a hit. We stayed in #202 and were impressed by how cute the apartment was and what it offered. The small kitchen had a decent-sized fridge, a glass-top stove, and pots and pans for light cooking. A great place for families, especially with kids.
