River Edge Inn

We loved staying here in the fall and are coming back in May. The location is premium, just a few blocks from the main strip but quiet and peaceful. From the balcony, we enjoyed watching bears in the river. The rooms were clean, the beds very comfortable, and our dog was welcome.

We had a really nice stay, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast they provide is mostly individually wrapped sugary stuff like muffins and Pop-Tarts. It felt like enough to give me diabetes and a heart attack, so we'd have been better off eating at a nearby restaurant. Go early, though, since they fill up fast.

The room was pleasant, with clean bedding and plenty of towels. I just wish it had more lighting, especially at the work station, where there wasn't any. Breakfast options were somewhat limited too. The location was handy for walking to the park entrance, Ripley's Aquarium, and Anakeesta.

That front desk lady was so kind. I showed up with a pretty serious injury from earlier that same day, and she helped make things easier, including finding me a primo parking spot and bringing extra bags for ice packs so my first night would be more comfortable and accessible. The place is also an easy walk to the popular destinations. My room was clean, spacious, and lovely, with a beautiful bathroom and a fireplace, while still feeling cozy like a mountain hotel. The price was truly affordable. I've stayed in hotels in most major US cities, and River Edge is almost unparalleled. I'll stay here every time I'm in town. Loyal for life.
