Suburban Studios Johnstown - Richland Town Center Hotel

The room was butchered up, with no carpet, so you hear everything. The temperature was all over the place, and you can't control it. There were strange ignition sounds from the furnace, and I felt like getting sick was on the way. A pure furnace, or crematorium, maybe. All you hear is the elevator, other guests, especially when they flush, and banging on the ceiling. Absolutely awful and a waste of money. Comforter inn was so much better. Sleep in is the worst place I've stayed. Don't forget, it's currently under renovations. I will not be back!

The young man at the front desk gave very good customer service. The room, though, was dirty enough that I felt like I'd need a tetanus shot. They're renovating, but that doesn't excuse dirty walls and floors. I don't mind an unpainted room or water damage on the ceiling; it doesn't need to look perfect. The pillows they provide are only 20x20 throw size, not regular pillows. It could work for a weeklong business trip or a longer stay, since there's an apartment-size fridge and a small pub sink for dishes. I'll post pictures.

Several rooms were yelling and fighting loudly enough for everyone to hear. The front desk was rude, the whole place smelled like mold and smoke, and the bed was hard as a rock. The sheets hadn't even been cleaned. Sleeping in your car in some random parking lot feels like a better, safer option than this hotel.

The location was awesome, close to lots of shops, and I'd definitely stay here again. It's hard to judge the place accurately while it's under renovation. My room had been updated, apart from the trim, which badly needs replacing, and the wall switch plates.
