Quality Inn Geneseo

Excellent staff service and a hot breakfast that includes bacon, which seems increasingly rare among complimentary breakfasts at this price. This Quality Inn is clean, comfortable, functional, and generally in good repair, though a couple of lampshades could use replacing. There's a nice large refrigerator in the room, but the TV is small. It's a two-story building with interior corridors, no elevator, and a connection to a banquet hall. The public areas have traditional country-home decor. Beds sit lower than in most hotels, and the room is too small for two queen beds. The bathroom is cramped too: the door edge rubs against the toilet. This is a smaller property serving a smaller market, yet it seems consistently more expensive than similar Quality hotels in bigger cities. It cost more than the four other hotels I stayed at this summer. Still, if you need a room in this part of Western New York, it's a pretty solid option.

A snowstorm left me stranded at the Quality Inn in Geneseo, and I'd happily stay there again. The rooms were remarkably clean, quiet, and comfortable. The place was well run and clearly cared for, with no frills or fuss. I never expected to be so impressed by a Quality Inn, but it turned a rough winter night in upstate New York into a genuinely good stay.

I stayed in July 2025, and this was easily the best Quality Inn I've stayed at. The room and outdoor pool were clean, and the pool was a nice bonus. The continental breakfast had everything I needed. Definitely worth it.

Breakfast was my favorite part, even though the choices were limited. The hotel was average, with nothing especially impressive. The rooms did the job, but the washrooms could've been cleaned better. Staff were friendly, though it sometimes seemed they were understaffed because it was hard to find someone at the desk.
