We slept well, the room was very clean, and breakfast was good. There are several places to eat nearby, and we walked to Legion Park multiple times a day. The hotel also has an outdoor grill area that other guests were using to cook. I wish we'd tried it too, since it looked useful for a longer trip. We were in town for the Monument Marathon, and Monument Inn & Suites is right across the street from packet pickup and check-in. It's also about a five-minute drive from Scotts Bluff National Monument, so it worked well as a base for the area. Even with the hotel busy for race weekend, check-in went smoothly and staff helped everyone get settled. Our suite had a wet bar and couch, and I appreciated the extra space after a long travel day. We liked it enough that we've already booked again for the Old West Balloon Fest. Looking forward to coming back. If this review helped, a quick ❤️ means a lot. This is our fourth stay here, and it's a nice hotel for the price. We enjoy the breakfast, but the pillows are a problem. There are only two in the room, and you have to ask for extras. Tonight they were all gone. I don't understand why they can't keep enough on hand, especially when the pillows go flat in a couple of minutes and one per person isn't enough.

It was quiet, easy to get to, and the staff were friendly. The service was fine for me since I'm not especially needy. Rooms were clean and neat, though a few updates would help. You can't easily walk to a lot of activities from here, and there's no view of the bluffs.

The mini kitchenette and separate workspace were nice to have, and the hotel was spacious and cleaned well. It's a bit outdated, but it does the job. Breakfast was pretty standard. My only complaint is the room lighting, which was very bright and harsh. Keep that in mind if you're sensitive to light.

The rooms are nice and roomy, but there were a few issues. The tub drained poorly during a shower, and Direct TV had no local stations like NBC, CBS, ABC, or Fox, or sports channels such as ESPN. The workout room has only three pieces of equipment.
