We stayed in the double suite for a night while visiting Gettysburg. It was comfortable and charming, and the little kitchen was fully stocked. The area is convenient and we walked everywhere. The owners were kind and helpful, and there's even a delicious ice cream shop attached to the bed and breakfast. We'll definitely stay again.

We'd never stayed at a B&B before, but our time at a sentimental journey has made me consider one instead of a hotel next time. The owners were so nice and went over the local activities and directions before we checked in. Our king suite and the B&B itself both had plenty of space. Each room has its own distinct decor, and it was mostly quiet. We loved it and would stay again if we return.

The owners know Gettysburg well and are really friendly. The rooms are nice, the beds comfortable, and the decor is beautiful.

Sitting on the front porch and watching people go by ended up being my husband's favorite part. We could walk to all the attractions on our list, and the owners were so welcoming. It was reassuring to have them right there if we had questions or concerns. My husband is hard to please, but he couldn't have been happier. We'd stayed in the La Belle Epoche room 14 years ago on a road trip to Florida, when my son was 13. He loved having a kitchenette he could use any time, and I fell for the place's charm. I'd always hoped to come back and enjoy it for longer, so finding the B&B still open and that same room free on our anniversary weekend made me thrilled. What a bonus that the owners had opened an ice-cream shop in the same duplex! The stay felt truly sentimental, and I can't imagine choosing anywhere else on our next trip to Gettysburg.

We barely moved the car during our stay because the location is so good. We could walk to the battlefield, restaurants, and more. The B&B is beautiful, welcoming, generally clean and well cared for, and the owners are friendly and responsive. There's no full breakfast, but the retro self-service kitchen on the second floor is stocked and open around the clock. Our first-floor king suite had its own kitchen, but the bedroom opened onto the B&B's entry room and front door through twin glass doors. Thin opaque fabric covered the glass, but it didn't block much light. The doors didn't shut all the way, though they did lock, and we felt short on privacy. We could hear other guests arriving and leaving clearly. It felt like sleeping in the living room at a relative's, without the cozy family part. Heavier curtains covering the whole doorway might help. I assume the upstairs rooms are more private. I'd avoid the first-floor king suite.
