Even though I always check beds before settling into a hotel room, I woke up to bed bugs. They were behind the bed along the carpet and wall. The hotel didn't offer much, so I had to ask for a refund. I spent quite a bit at a laundromat, putting all my things through dryers on high heat because I didn't want to bring any bugs home, including one hiding in my suitcase. I bought new suitcases and even a new outfit so that all the clothes I'd had in the room could be laundered. It was a very, very stressful experience, and the hotel never followed up.

Everything was very good and pretty basic. The rooms were simple, and the pool was quite small. If people were sitting around it, getting past them meant you almost went into the pool. The main door by the pool opens onto rocks and plants, with no sidewalk leading directly to the cars, so everyone walks through them. It was also a challenge to find the hotel again because three Holiday Inns have Gilbert and Mesa in their names. I don't understand why they can't have different names. But those are little things.

A quiet, clean place with a large, comfortable room. The included breakfast had lots of hot items, and staff were quick and pleasant. Recommend.

The room was spotless and in great shape, and they kept breakfast well stocked. It's very close to Mesa airport. Excellent experience, and I'd definitely stay again.

We're enjoying the complimentary breakfast and the friendly staff. The room is clean and big, and the hotel is close to shopping as well as relatives we're visiting.
