It’s so quiet here, and our room had lovely views. Fleischmanns has its own quirky charm, and the Catskills offer hiking and farm-to-table meals in every season. The rooms are fairly priced, too. We love staying at Breezy Hill Inn: the couple who run it are lovely, the house is spotless, and breakfast is a wholesome treat, often with wonderful homemade preserves. It’s been renovated with modern furnishings while keeping its rural character.

We had a great long weekend at Breezy Hill Inn from 10/3/25-10/6/25. The innkeepers, Alan & Michelle, were friendly, accommodating, and full of local tips. We enjoyed talking with them. The breakfasts were delicious and nicely presented, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. The grounds are lovely and well kept, and the huge front porch has spectacular views. The house itself is a lovingly restored 1900 farmhouse, brought back to its original beauty, and it’s amazing. We visited the Fall Festival at Belleayre Mountain, rode the tracks with Rail Explorer, and really recommend that and the rail museum. We also spent time in downtown Phoenicia, Saugerties, Woodstock, and Schoharie. Woodstock had plenty of shops and places to eat and drink. In Schoharie, we went to Night Terrors on a family-owned farm. We also stopped at Phoenicia Diner, where the food was very good and the outdoor seating was great. After picking up wine, we relaxed on the inn’s porch and enjoyed the view. The steam room and pool table made for a lovely bit of downtime, too. A wonderful weekend with great hosts and company!

Skiing at Belleayre Mountain was the main reason for our three-night stay, and since it was our first visit, Michelle and Alan gave us useful advice about parking and food options. They also shared helpful local information that made the trip memorable. We had a marvelous time, and would happily return. The Inn is beautifully furnished, with impressive woodwork and a comfortable feel. Breakfast was delicious and served with style. Michelle and Alan also recommended The Print House and Peekamoose Restaurant, where we had two really good dinners.

We really needed a peaceful break from city life, and the quiet setting helped us recharge. Michelle and Allen were thoughtful hosts. When I called to say we’d arrive later than expected, Michelle was patient and made sure everything was ready for us. Our room suited the two of us well and had a private bathroom. Each morning, fresh homemade breakfast was set out in the dining room, where guests could sit together in a cozy space and mingle. Our hosts knew the area well and answered our questions about places to see and things to do. We spent a day skiing at Bellayre Mountain and had a wonderful time. I’d give the whole stay 10 out of 10, and hope to return in spring for the house and its beautiful views.

Back from a lovely trip to Breezy Hill Inn. The property was gorgeous, and we enjoyed meeting the other guests. Michelle and Alan gave us great recommendations, while Lourdes made delicious breakfast every morning and coffee we really needed before our daily hikes. Everyone at the inn helped make it a wonderful weekend. I couldn’t praise the stay more, and we’ll definitely be back soon.
