The first room they gave us smelled bad because of water damage to the ceiling, and the paint was peeling near the door. The second room they tried to put us in had a door lock that didn't work, so they moved us upstairs. Even with all these problems, they charged the full price and didn't offer a discount for the room or the trouble.

The desk person was outright rude. I asked whether they could match a price, since other Wyndham properties often match online rates. He got angry, then asked, “Why would I lie to you?” I hadn't said he was lying, so I didn't understand why he asked that. He told me, “I don't care, write a review,” so here it is. This was my third bad experience with a Wyndham property in three days. I'm moving my frequent flyer miles away from Wyndham. They've lost a longtime customer and a former employee who used to advocate for them. Sad.

The rooms were clean, comfortable, and quiet, with good hot water and pressure, decent TV channels, and a heater that worked well. You do have to leave a cash deposit. The hallways are a little dated and worn, but not too bad, and the rooms seem well maintained. Good value overall.

The room was dirty and disgusting, nothing like the pictures on the site, and I wouldn't even want my dog staying there long. When we went in to unpack, my daughter spotted a cockroach crawling up the bathtub and along the walls. There was also garbage all up and down the hallway. The guy at the counter offered us a different room, but if there are roaches, I figured they must be in every room, so I asked for my money back. I was not happy. They should say on the website that the pool is down and not working. Please do something about this hotel or get rid of it.
