Four Creeks Bed & Breakfast

It felt like home and was really comfortable. The hosts were very friendly, and I was surprised to learn the husband is a talented, formally trained chef. If you want to start vacation days with a wonderful meal, skip the hotels. We'll be back.

We found Four Creeks B&B while driving across the country and wanted something beyond the usual chain by the interstate. It was easily one of the best places we've stayed in the US. The decor has a charming vintage feel while still being modern, with everything a new hotel would offer. Breakfast was unbelievably good, and the couple running the place were just as charming. It cost the same as, or even less than, one of the big chains. Don't hesitate to book at Four Creeks B&B while places like this still exist!

Shawn & Jeannie do a wonderful job. We were a bit early for the new swim-spa, which should be up and running soon. Girard is worth exploring for its history and natural attractions, and we definitely plan to come back.

We wanted to try a bed and breakfast instead of another noisy hotel, and we're so glad we did. My daughter and I were there for a business trip. Shawn greeted us at the door even though we arrived late, chatted with us, helped carry our things, and showed us around the room and how everything worked. There was tea and coffee in the room, but we got in late and didn't use them. We did enjoy the bottled water in the refrigerator. We filled out our breakfast choices. Since it was Monday, there were no specials, just the Continental and English breakfasts, which were more than enough for two and both amazing. I ordered the English breakfast, cooked perfectly and more than I could finish. My daughter picked the Continental, which doesn't include waffles on weekdays, only on weekends. But Shawn was so wonderful that he made a special waffle just for Avah, with breakfast sausage on the side. We met Jeanie and all three puppies; they were adorable, and Jeanie was sweet and lovely to talk with, even briefly. Shawn and Jeanie went above and beyond to make us comfortable and relaxed. We'd absolutely recommend Four Creeks and stay again if we're back in the Girard area. Thanks for welcoming us into your beautiful home!
