Two Palms Motel

I’d gladly come back for another peaceful stay. The property is quiet, with no loud riffraff around, and even though it sits off a major road, I hardly heard traffic from my room. Mine was 114, small but cozy, with a firm, comfortable bed. The sheets and towels were clean and good quality. There’s cable with lots of channels on a newer flat screen, and the mini fridge was especially handy, with separate freezer and fridge compartments. The bathroom was lovely, with beautiful tile and an etched vanity mirror. The room was spotless, with no sign of bugs or anything else unpleasant. It looks like the property may have been updated recently, though I didn’t confirm that. I’d give it 10 stars if I could, even compared with expensive resorts I’ve stayed at. The family who owns it has clearly put a lot of care into the place. I’ve seen complaints about customer service, but my experience was different. The woman who checked me in was professional and courteous. She’s there to do a job, not to be your friend. After check-in, the staff were friendly and made sure I had what I needed. As I left, I noticed another room had a little stove, which seems useful for guests staying longer. Thanks for a wonderful stay.

I won’t recommend this place or stay again, mostly because the staff were rude and had no customer service skills. The rooms are half the size they used to be, but now cost twice as much per night. Check-out is 10 am no matter when you arrive, with no exceptions. The beds were hard and the pillows flat.

I really dig this little hotel tucked away near 60 Grand Ave. My room is a simple studio with a bed, table, TV, fridge, microwave, and a nice bathroom. It fits my needs perfectly, and the price is great. The staff and management are friendly and accommodating. I like sitting outside and watching the slow train roll by, with the sun setting over the tracks.

Everything was bad. The room wasn’t even clean, there were stains on the wall, and it was overpriced.
