Cheerio Inn - Glennville

The floors stood out to me in a good way. I usually dislike motel carpet because it can hold odors and probably doesn’t get cleaned often, but this room had wood-like flooring and felt cleaner for it. I spent two weeks here because of the weather in NC and was pleasantly surprised. It’s an older motel in a very small town, but the price was reasonable, it was clean and quiet, the people running it were great, and the area felt safe. I honestly can’t think of a single negative from those two weeks.

I felt safe here, and the owners were really accommodating. The room was nice and clean, everything worked, and the price was great. Had a good stay and will definitely come back when I’m in the area.

The owners were so nice and treated me like family. My room was clean, had modern amenities, and felt safe. Amazing place, highly recommend staying here!

I only stopped by to pick someone up, so I didn’t stay there. Still, seeing housekeeping waiting outside before checkout time felt like too much, especially with only a few rooms booked. The owner or manager was also posted outside, staring me down, as if staying a few minutes past checkout would be the biggest crime in Granville since the train robbery of 1864. It came across as hostile instead of friendly or welcoming. Ridiculous. There aren’t many options around, but now I know what kind of people run the place.
