Motel 6 Glenview, IL - Chicago North

The room smelled horrible, the floor was sticky and filthy, and the blankets smelled nasty. I don't think they washed them at all. There are bed bugs, too. I left a charger by the bed and called the front desk. The girl there was really rude and hung up on me twice when I asked if she could check the room or lost center. She tried to convince me I'd left it somewhere else, saying their housekeepers clean these shitty rooms “really well” and “check every corner.” I know for sure it was there. After hanging up, she called me a liar. Now I don't expect to see my charger again, since she won't admit it was there.

My husband and I think Motel 6 in Glenview is the best location. The rooms are all clean, and there are no bugs or rodents. When we need an extra pillow or blanket, they bring it quickly. Everyone in housekeeping, maintenance, and at the Front Desk is extremely nice and kind. Mohammed, Somayya, Zainab, Fatima, and Manager Anne all go above and beyond to make sure we're comfortable. They make it feel like a home away from home. I'd highly recommend staying at this Motel 6.

It's a quiet, comfortable place in a discreet location, with lovely yard space outside if you want to spend time outdoors. The location is convenient too, near stores, gas stations, and an outlet mall. Good for a quick visit or a stay of a few days. I love having this as a choice of somewhere to stay. The staff are friendly, professional, and attentive. If you need something, just ask and they respond quickly. There's a large flatscreen TV and laundry in the building. The bathroom is especially nice: great water pressure, reliable hot water, and thick, fluffy towels.

The staff were the best part, everyone I spoke with was friendly and helpful. The building and room were clean and quiet, and the location was great, close to shops and restaurants.
