Mike was such a lovely host. He brought us chairs so we could sit outside and helped us with ice and our buckets. Our room was bright, spacious, and very clean, and the shower was outstanding. We had a wonderful one-night stay on 9/13. It was a great visit all around, and we'll certainly return. We highly recommend this hotel and hope Mike, his wife, and family are doing well. Being kind really does make experiences go well. We need more business owners like him. Cheers, and thanks again, Henry & Maya Berlied, Room #142, stayed 9/13.

The location couldn't be better, and we're already planning another visit. Our recently renovated room was beautiful, and the pool looked so inviting. The owner was one of the nicest people we've met and made our anniversary getaway special. Captain’s Lodge Motel was a wonderful place to stay.

A super short drive gets you to Main St. Glouster, and there's an upscale market right across the road for quick needs. Our room was large, cheerful, clean, and seemed recently renovated. It had a TV, microwave, mini fridge, coffee machine, and great water pressure. The pool was good, too. It was just right for our weekend away.

The people running the hotel were incredible. They gave me rides to the plaza down the street for food and essentials, and even invited me to a BBQ. I stayed from Friday the 20th to Monday the 23rd after deciding at the last minute, since Gloucester was full for an event, and couldn't have been happier. My room was bigger than most, with a huge, comfortable bed. The shower pressure was amazing, and the pool was clean and refreshing. Highly recommend.

A great price, great service, and a convenient spot between Glochester and Rockport make this hotel easy to recommend. The pool and tennis court were both amazing, and the room was just right. The bathroom was a little small and the shower not ideal, but those felt like minor issues for what we paid.
