We rode our motorcycles to Goliad to see the history and stayed two nights at this BW. The parking lot was well lit, and we were all happy with our clean, spacious rooms. Those firm king beds were very comfortable, too. Breakfast had more than enough to choose from: eggs, potatoes, bacon, fruit, waffles, juice, milk, and plenty more. We’ll choose this BW again if we come back. Thank you, BW Goliad!

Sonya at the front desk was so friendly and helpful every time I spoke with her. As a BW rewards member, I called the hotel directly several times in early October 2025 to get details for rooms for myself and four others, then called back a few days later to book for check-in 11/16/25-11/17/25. Each time, she was pleasant and easy to talk to, almost like I already knew her. I hope the local and general BW offices recognize Sonya's talents and let her know. If you call the hotel to ask questions or make a reservation, ask for Sonya.

The rooms were roomy and very clean, and breakfast was good. We also enjoyed the tasty snacks with area business cards attached for discounts at local stores. Customer service was wonderful, everyone was friendly and helpful. A very nice hotel.

Breakfast is a point of pride here. The owner checked me in himself and was clearly proud of the service, especially excited to tell us about the woman who makes breakfast. She was just as enthusiastic about serving her biscuits and gravy to guests. It has exactly the atmosphere you’d expect from a small town hotel. I usually find something to nitpick, but after several stays I still haven’t found anything. I always look forward to coming back.

The rooms at the Best Western were cool, clean and quiet. The accessible room had enough space in the room and shower for a wheelchair or mobility cart, but the toilet area was too tight. There were no grab bars there, and the shower was missing textured grab bars and a swing-down seat. The accessible fixtures were limited.
