For Gonzales, TX, I'd give it five stars. The rooms were clean, and she worked hard running the restaurant and hotel at the same time. I hope she can hire more help in the years ahead to make the experience even better, but she did her best to make it all happen. Congrats to her.

A cute little inn, quiet and clean, though dated and out in the middle of nowhere. The staff were pretty nice, and I enjoyed my stay. The nightly rate felt ridiculous because we were in town for an event and everything was expensive. I didn't get to try the restaurant on site, but heard it was good.

We enjoyed walking around town both days of our visit. The Dilworth is right in the historic district, near the shops and attractions, and the rooms were very clean. Management was courteous and professional. I'll definitely stay here on my next Gonzales trip.

The inn has so much personality, with unique decor, high ceilings, and huge ceiling fans. The rooms are just the right size for relaxing, and the blankets and comforters are really comfortable. There are coffee machines everywhere, too. Two things I'd add: some kind of breakfast, even just pastries, and someone at the desk.

The Italian restaurant downstairs served great food, so make time for a meal there. We found this little 14-room hotel right on the square in Goliad. It was quiet and clean, the staff were accommodating, and everything was well serviced.
