Goldberry Woods

We made good use of the bikes, which had all the additions, to ride to the beautiful beach. There were homemade cookies by the kitchen, and yoga happenings in the mornings, too. My husband and I came for three relaxing nights, and this BnB was everything I’d hoped for and more. The breakfasts were huge, organic, and creative, and we had a gorgeous terrace off our bedroom. We’re already planning to return with our children. Incredible stay!

The trails through the woods and along the river were lovely, and we spotted several deer on one of our walks. We’d hoped to canoe, but the weather didn’t cooperate, so we played ping-pong in the barn instead. Julie, Eric, and the rest of the staff made us feel very welcome. My husband had arranged our weekend at Goldberry Woods, and I didn’t know what to expect when we arrived. The main house impressed me right away. Our picturesque room had a gas fireplace, an outdoor deck, and a king-sized bed with incredibly comfortable pillows and sheets. Breakfasts were out-of-this-world delicious. I even asked whether they sold a cookbook of the recipes. Not yet, though they might someday. The farm is close to all the fun things in this part of western Michigan, and we’ll definitely return to Goldberry Woods.

The breakfasts were filling and delicious, and the Inn rooms are beautiful and charming. I wanted a few quiet, relaxing days to recharge, and Goldberry Woods was fabulous. I had a great stay and would highly recommend it if you’re after tranquility and R&R.

The breakfasts Karli and Julie make each morning are fabulous. Goldberry Inn is a little bit of heaven, and everything is awesome. If yoga is your thing, Ferris is great. Julie and Eric have created a restful, beautiful retreat. Thank you. We’ll be back!
