Breakfast was a highlight every morning, and the common spaces were decorated so beautifully. Robert was a terrific host who clearly knows his way around good food. Our room was spotless and comfortable, and the location made it easy to get around Amish country. Thanks, Robert, we’d happily recommend a stay here.

The garden view from our balcony room was lovely, and the room itself was clean, nicely decorated, and had a comfortable bed. Robert even pointed out where the balcony chair cushions were, though the weather was too cold for us to enjoy coffee outside. Inside, there were always snacks in the dining area, plus sodas in the fridge and a Keurig ready to use. Breakfast each morning was delicious and beautifully served, and it usually sent us straight out for the day. We came to After Eight Bed & Breakfast for three nights to celebrate our tenth anniversary, and Robert made us feel at home from the minute we arrived. He greeted us warmly, showed us around, and had the place decorated for fall. We had such a cozy stay that this has become our favorite place to stay on trips to Lancaster. I’ve already booked for next year, so we’ll see you in 2026. Thank you for being such a thoughtful, gracious host!

We had such a relaxing stay at After Eight Bed & Breakfast. The breakfasts were delicious, and it was nice getting to meet so many lovely people there. Robert was a gracious owner, and we were happy with everything about our room: comfortable bed, spotless and beautiful bathroom, and a very clean space. The common rooms were furnished beautifully too.

Breakfast was always a good start to the day, and the location made getting around Lancaster PA easy, with everything just a short ride away. Robert welcomes you warmly as soon as you arrive, and the place is decorated for the current season or holiday.

Robert was a lovely host, and I especially enjoyed hearing his little stories over breakfast. Our room was quiet, clean, and cozy, and the food was great. My husband and I had a really good stay, and After Eight B&B will be our regular place from now on. Ed and Diane
