The staff and location were the strongest parts of our stay. Housekeeping appeared to be on schedule, and although we didn't use the service, I could see the workers keeping to their rounds. The front desk was polite and professional. Depending on how close you want to be to regional activities, the location might rate four or five stars; most things were not far away. For the price, staying turned out to be not so bad, and I think four stars overall is fair. We were disappointed at first with the suite and considered leaving, but decided against it because we'd lose a night's charge. After comparing prices at other nearby hotels, we stayed and made the best of it. The room was small, with a bathroom about the size of a closet and no sink in it, which we disliked since we prefer to wash our hands after using the toilet and touching the doorknob. The tub also held two to three inches of water while showering because it drained poorly. I didn't contact the front desk, since I thought the drain fixture was poorly designed. There was a small stove, microwave, and fridge, but no pots or pans. We ate out most of the time. There were bowls, dishes, silverware, and dish soap. The room felt a bit dated for a modern-style hotel, though it was maintained well and the air conditioning worked nicely.

We spent a week here and had a great experience. The staff were friendly, breakfast had a nice selection, and our third-floor family room was refreshed with made beds and clean towels. The indoor pool was open, though my kids only went in once. The sundry shop had local ice cream as well as other essentials.

I booked this Best Western as a stop to break up a long drive, hoping to sleep and get back on the road in the morning. Instead, I spent the night in a freezing room while the curtain rod kept banging against the window. By 3 a.m. I figured out the problem and tried stuffing towels into the big gap between the window panes. I might have slept better in my car.

Everyone was so kind, from the attentive staff in the breakfast area to the very courteous front desk team. The continental breakfast was really good, and the whole stay was one we loved. We would definitely come back.

I was upgraded to a huge family room, which was beautiful, very clean, and stocked well. The one thing it didn't have was a microwave. Breakfast is served daily from 7am-10 am, which was great, and the staff were very nice and attentive.
