Iron Horse made my parents’ 50th anniversary a trip they’ll always remember. They were treated like royalty from the moment they arrived. Staff met them at the car, helped them inside, and carried their luggage up the stairs while helping them up too. Their beautiful room came with soft drinks, chocolate covered strawberries, a balloon, and flowers for the occasion. Thank you!

We found the Coastal room available for a last minute trip to Granbury for a New Year's concert, and it worked out perfectly. The king bed was comfortable, the mattress firm, and there was plenty of space, including a walk-in closet and updated bathroom for two. Iron Horse is in a great location. The 1907 building has eight rooms, plus a parlor, reading room, and dining room that give it an old time luxury feel. Coffee and breakfast were delicious. Worth checking out for a getaway weekend.

The house has good bones but could use some TLC. The host only acquired it very recently and already has a vision for it. They were pleasant, accommodating, and eager to make our stay enjoyable. Breakfast was delicious, and the host was happy to share recipes. Don’t skip a visit!

The Inn Keeper is one of the kindest, sweetest ladies you could meet. She went out of her way to make the stay feel special and comfortable. I was there last night and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. This place is special, and I hope the new owners keep that same spirit.

Julie made us feel welcome from the start, and shared a lot of Granbury history over breakfast on most days. We never had to ask for anything. The food was great too. We stayed in Josaphine's room, with a large bedroom and a nice living room with great windows. All the rooms were clean and beautiful, and the furniture and woodwork are lovely, still the same as when the house was built for the third time. Great house and great people, we wouldn’t have been disappointed.
