Mountainside at SilverCreek by Resort Management Group

For skiing, Granby was a great choice. We had several sunny days and plenty of snow from earlier storms, and a complete beginner in our group had an excellent lesson at the ski school. With so few people at the resort, it felt almost like a private lesson. More experienced skiers could probably fill two days, since there are only two main lifts and a limited number of trails, but the quiet weekdays made it feel like our own ski paradise. We stayed a week in a spacious Mountainside at Granby apartment that suited five adults, though the listed maximum of 11 seems like too many. There are two bedrooms and a mezzanine bedroom, which I can see working for six couples, but not sure where five more would sleep on the sofas. The hot tub fit four adults, fine for us, but its location in the master bedroom was odd and took up space. The chemicals smelled, and the pump was noisy, although you could switch the power off at night.

The stay was good, and the units are all a little different. Ours had one bedroom, but the beds were old, with worn mattresses that were too small.

We stayed at 96 mountain side Dr unit 14, a cozy, beautiful home with a lovely view of the golf course. Thanks for a great stay.

The area was beautiful to visit, and the cabin itself was lovely, furnished and decorated well by the owners. Still, problems started as soon as we arrived: we waited two hours for the cleaners to finish, and the cleaning wasn't done well. On the first night, the washing machine flooded part of the basement, leaving us unable to use the basement all week. The flood caused a horrible smell, and we lost access to two rooms and a TV room. I understand things can go wrong, but for such an expensive stay, I was disappointed with how it was handled. There should have been more compensation.
