The Mountainside at SilverCreek

There was plenty of room, the beds were great, and even the pullout sofas had really comfortable mattresses. We enjoyed the property, with its lovely view and excellent access to the mountain.

I live out of state and accidentally left my prescription glasses in the room. Michelle and Haley found them and promptly mailed them back, saving me the expense of getting a new pair. Their customer service was excellent, and I really appreciate it.

The view is beautiful, and the resort that shares amenities with these units seemed clean and well maintained. The units themselves feel like they might have been cute in the early 90s, but they badly need updating. We never figured out the heat and AC, and adjusting the thermostat didn't help. The old hot tub had a section tied together with rope, some rust, and once sat at just 93 degrees without letting us change it. The listing calls it a one-bedroom, which is technically true, but there was no real privacy beyond the bathrooms. The loft is open to the space below, the bedroom has a glass panel visible from the loft, and the glass hot tub door can be seen through from the living room. There were dozens of light switches, many of them useless, and we couldn't find how to turn on some lights we wanted.

The hot tub was the best part of our stay, clean and enjoyable. The unit itself badly needed repairs: chipped paint throughout, with mismatched touch-ups, and only two working stove burners. I could list more, but the place really needs a full upgrade.
