Everything was clean and organized, and the owners were both so welcoming and nice. It was freezing outside, but our room was warm and cozy, just right for a one-night motel stay.

A lovely 50s motel. It was bitterly cold outside, but our room stayed warm, was clean, and had comfortable beds. We're from England, and the owner greeted us himself and suggested places to eat.

Mike, the owner, was really accommodating. There was plenty of room, and the place felt clean and cozy. Easy to walk out for a brew and dinner. Great place to stay!

We could walk to the shops and restaurants, and I especially liked the pretty flower boxes outside every room. Mike was very helpful, flexible with check-in and check-out, and even drove us to the train depot. Thanks again, Mike, for helping us enjoy our time in Granby. You were God sent!

I've stayed here twice, on a trip about a month ago, and I'd come back every time I'm in the area. The owner can seem curt and blasé at first, but he's one of the kindest, most helpful people you'll meet. He went out of his way for my wife and me when he absolutely didn't have to. You have to call to book, and as he put it, “Sure, I could take online booking and upcharge 20%, or people can call.” I'd rather make a phone call and save the cash. World class fishing and backpacking are right at your doorstep. I check thoroughly for bedbugs, and had zero problems here. Check Grand Lake and you'll see there's a lot of bed bugs at double the price. It's the perfect Americana hotel, with thunderstorms and neon signs. I can't recommend it enough.
