AmeriVu Inn & Suites - Grand Forks

A blizzard closed the highway, so we had to add a night in Grand Forks. Our usual hotel was full, and we walked into Amerivu just hoping to find somewhere to wait out the storm. The staff were super friendly, the beds comfortable, and breakfast was good. The small pool was heated, and the lobby and rooms were impressively clean. We were so pleased we'll switch from our regular hotel, especially since this one is cheaper. We'll absolutely be back.

The staff stood out most. Everyone was pleasant and kind, and the new person they were training did a great job. We arrived a day early for our flight and booked mainly because of the price, expecting just a bed, but the room was a pleasant surprise: clean and very comfortable. Breakfast was the usual complimentary hotel spread, which suits me since I'm not much of a breakfast person. We didn't use the pool or gym, though we checked them out. The pool looked well maintained, and I love that adult swim runs from 11 pm to midnight. We'll definitely stay again.

We had a great stay, though the chlorine smell from the pool was overwhelming in our room right above it. I suppose that's to be expected in that spot. The room itself was great, with a comfortable bed, lots of space, good shower pressure, and it was clean and quiet. The rates were great too.

This was my first stay, just one night on the Sunday of a Canadian long weekend, and I was quite happy with it. The price was reasonable and the room was spacious and clean. I was next to the elevator but still had a quiet night. I didn't try breakfast, though it looked busy. I'll stay here again.
