Staybridge Suites Grand Forks by IHG

The breakfast at 8 on Saturday was just a couple of cooked eggs, and when I asked whether more food was coming, the server said she didn't think so. The bathroom was filthy, there was dried puke outside my door, and the kitchen floor needs replacing. The whole hotel looked like nothing had been worked on in ten years. This place is a dump. Find somewhere else to stay.

I picked this place for business meetings and ended up embarrassed by the condition. The floors were falling apart, the seats were stained, and the furniture was ripped, all at $190 a night. 🤦🏼‍♀️😭 Staybridge has gone downhill over the years, with a lot of management turnover. I'd skip it and go with Hilton.

We hadn't planned to stay in the area, but after a funeral we were exhausted and called around. Staybridge had one room left, so we took it. Check-in was delayed because our cards weren't working, but the front desk ladies were so kind and patient. A few hours later we got the card sorted out. Their help made an already stressful day much better, and we're really grateful. The room was clean and comfortable, with plenty of space for our pup to stretch out. We're from a small town and aren't used to bigger cities, but our experience in Grand Forks and with the people there was entirely positive. We'll definitely be back.

The location was great, breakfast was great, and the front desk guy was really nice. The bed, though, was small, hard, and very uncomfortable.
