Michael and Lauren were courteous and incredibly friendly, and they made my wife and me feel comfortable. Since we're getting ready to move permanently to Grand Lake, they also shared lots of helpful local information. Our cozy room had everything we needed, plus a thermostat-controlled gas fireplace. We woke to an amazing sunrise view over Mt. Craig. The lodge is right on Grand Lake's main road, just a few minutes' walk from restaurants, shops, and the beach. We had an amazing stay and highly recommend it. Can't wait to return.

We brought our two dogs for their first getaway somewhere new, and they were anxious and barked at everything. I felt bad about it, but the staff were very nice about the dogs. Our queen suite was cozy, with a fireplace and nice decor, and had enough room for my husband, me, and both dogs without feeling crowded. The location is perfect, with everything we needed in walking distance. I'd highly recommend it if you're looking for a place in Grand Lake with your fur babies.

My wife, daughter, and I drove up from Denver for an overnight in Grand Lake and stayed at Spirit Lake Lodge this past Saturday. The room was clean and roomy, and the front desk staff were friendly and helpful. Right on main street, the lodge made it easy to walk to everything in minutes, including the lake. We'd recommend it and will stay here again.

This has been one of Grand Lake's favorite lodges for decades, and I've grown older right along with it. The building is definitely old, but it's been updated, and the rooms are comfortable and well appointed. Queen suites have gas fireplaces. I like the ceiling fans and mini fridges, too. I do wish the queen suites had king beds, or the standard king rooms had fireplaces, but I understand space is limited. The location is fabulous, with everything walkable. Staff are friendly and helpful, and next time I'll come ready to use the hot tub. Great value for the price.

The room was comfortable and cute, especially the beds, and we could walk to everything in town. The front desk manager was so nice and accommodating. We had a really pleasant stay and would definitely come back and recommend it to friends. A++
