Best Western Plus Superior Inn & Suites

The checkout experience turned a great first night into a terrible stay. Earlier, Chris had made a helpful recommendation, and Anne made check-in excellent. But at checkout, a woman at the desk refused to sell us anything from the shop. Once she learned we'd already checked out, she told us to leave because it "is not a public space." Her attitude was rude and dismissive, and I wouldn't spend another dime there. We were happy to take our money next door to East Bay Suites, where the accommodations and hospitality were much better. We were only back to retrieve something we'd accidentally left in the room, and East Bay Suites had no problem honoring the late checkout Aspen had promised but failed to provide, despite the complaint's suggestion otherwise. Whatever may have been said as we left was warranted by how we were treated. This made the establishment's hospitality clear to us, and I wouldn't recommend staying there when East Bay Suites is only a few hundred feet away.

Chris and her family were wonderful hosts, always helpful and a pleasure to talk with. My wife Lynn and I had an amazing three nights at the Superior Inn. The rooms were fabulous, with beautiful lake views. We'll be back.

We brought our dog for the first time and she did great. There were other dogs at the hotel too, and it was quiet. The free breakfast was quite good, and the sunrise views from the balcony were fantastic. The photos were taken there without filters. We plan to return.

We liked it so much that we added another day. Friendly staff, a perfect bed, a good shower, a nice lake view, and good coffee made for a really nice stay.
