The cold shower was the biggest letdown. I contacted maintenance every day and was told it would be fixed, but the water stayed cold for the whole visit. Nobody offered a room change or another way to make it right. The service with basic supplies was frustrating too. Our room was booked for four, but only had three sets of towels. Paper towels weren’t replenished, and although I got a text saying I could message for anything I needed, we often had to go ask the front desk a second time. Some requests still weren’t filled. Kleenex and shampoo also ran out before we left, and housekeeping didn’t replace them. There were good parts. The location is excellent, with plenty of restaurants and entertainment nearby. The staff were friendly, the room was spacious and clean, and breakfast had good options. The pool looked nice, but it wasn’t heated and was VERY cold. The rooms were comfortable, but I’d need to see better follow-through on maintenance and basic needs before booking again.

We loved the view and the amenities around the Hotel. This was our first visit with the DI team of Northampton, and the room design was nice, with everything needed for a family stay. Breakfast was delicious, especially the seasoned potatoes, and there were different sides to choose from. Some neighbors were loud while we were there, but the front desk team handled it. Thanks for having us, it was great.

The breakfast at the restaurant was a highlight. There was a good buffet selection, and you could also order items cooked to order. The rooms were clean and well maintained, too. Still, I could clearly hear people talking in the next room through the thin walls, which made it hard to relax. Parking was a nightmare with the water park guests around, and spaces were tough to find. I was moved from the 7th floor to the 4th for water repairs, but there were still signs on the door about water problems, so I’m not sure why the move was needed. The noise and parking made the stay less enjoyable.

Whenever work brings me to GP, I love staying at the Homewood. The rooms are clean, modern, and spacious, and the service is always friendly. You can find all the amenities you’d want in the hotel or right outside. I can’t recommend it enough.
