Tru by Hilton Grantville, PA

Annett at the front desk was genuinely helpful, and the service from her was perfect. The rooms were spacious and very clean, in a quiet, pleasant, safe area. Breakfast was delicious with plenty to choose from. We also like the TRU HILTON lobby, where there are fun things to do while you have a coffee. Very nice hotel, and we’d definitely come back when we’re in the area. Thanks!

After a long day on the road, this place is easy to unwind in. It feels bright, comfortable, and thoughtfully laid out, with everything simple and functional. The wood floors are a favorite of mine; they give the room a fresh feel compared with carpet. Tru by Hilton Grantville feels modern, new, and very clean, which is the kind of hotel I like. I’d happily stay again.

On my second four-day stay here, I again appreciated how quiet and tucked away it is while still being convenient to everything. It feels like you’re in your own apartment or someone’s home. There’s a gym, pool, breakfast, and plenty of free parking. The staff are fabulous, and management is five-star, calling or texting to check that you’re comfortable and see if you need anything. I’m not sure whether Michael is the manager, but he’s at the front desk every day like a ray of sunshine and is extremely accommodating. I’ve stayed at other Harrisburg hotels for business, but this is my preference every time. You won’t find another one like it anywhere else in Harrisburg.

I stayed for over 10 days, and only one young guy, who was polite and professional, asked how I was doing or whether I was enjoying my stay. From everyone else, there was no greeting at all. It felt like they were doing us a favor just by speaking to us, and you have to seek staff out before they’ll say anything. The game table was broken, so I never got to play. I gave it four stars because there’s no washer or dryer and the staff weren’t very friendly.
