We especially loved the quiet setting and seeing so many wild animals on the drive back at night. The property feels safe and thoughtfully set up, with plenty of privacy while still having helpful communication and extras when needed. It’s a little outside Fredericksburg, but we enjoyed the trips into town, and it was only about five minutes away from watching the bats at sunset. The three resort animals showed up every morning for feeding and a rub down, and we met the two miniature cows too. We came for an anniversary trip on a fall Monday, when town was quieter and we weren’t sure how long we’d stay. Gianna was so kind when we contacted her and offered to let us change our checkout date once we were already on the trip, since it was a slower time of week. That kind of flexibility is pretty much unheard of. We appreciated it and ended up staying an extra night, thanks to the peaceful surroundings and welcoming animals. You can see the stars really well there, too. Both owners are top-notch. We had a great stay!

We spent several mornings on the covered front porch watching the sun come up, with peaceful scenery and deer all around. The llama and its two donkey friends came by for a visit each day, and the owners left a bag of treats in the room so we could feed them. Our stay also came with a complimentary bottle of wine, a kitchenette, homemade cinnamon rolls and breakfast puff pastry, plus lots of thoughtful snacks. Such a little slice of heaven in the beautiful Hill Country. We’re planning to come back to this gem when we’re in the area.

The owners were really attentive and went out of their way to make the stay memorable. We stayed in the la casinta, which had its own private Hot tub, and there were donkeys, cows, and llamas you could feed. The room was quaint but still spacious, and we loved the place. It’s really close to Main Street. The only real concern was that watching Netflix was a bit of a struggle. Prime, YouTube, and everything else worked great. Truly 5 stars.

The AC never got very cold, so we slept badly because it was too hot. It was also 85 degrees at the end of December 🤣. Everything else was amazing. Loved the farm and quiet life, and the donkeys and llama were perfect!

The animals were the best part, so sweet and friendly. The room was perfect and had everything we needed. What a neat place. We’ll be back and will recommend it to everyone.
