Quality Inn Grasonville near Kent Island

The location was amazing, access was easy, and the front desk service was great. Our room was very nice, with good amenities, hardwood floors, and comfortable beds. The walls are a bit thin, though, and we could hear every door closing as people came and went.

The room was clean but small, and the stairs were a hassle with our suitcases since there’s no elevator. On arrival there was an ugly tarp at the entrance, and it looked like some kind of construction was going on. There wasn’t much of a lobby, either. When I wanted to use the bathroom there at check-in, I had to get a key to enter, which felt shady. This might be a nice motel, but it shouldn’t have been listed as a hotel. It’s a motel.

Traffic from the highway was noisy at all hours, and the location isn’t the best. The rooms’ interiors were okay, but the hallway carpet smelled, at least I’m assuming that’s what caused the odor. On the plus side, front desk service was good, check-in was quick, and the attendant gave me useful information about amenities like breakfast.

I stayed four nights. The room was very clean, and the woman at the front desk when I checked in was really nice and helpful. The husband and wife who run the hotel were very nice and helpful, too. I’ll definitely stay there again. Thank you, Bob Kaeser.
