Quality Inn & Suites

The kids had a blast swimming and playing in the arcade in the dome area. We had good food at the restaurant, and it was nice to walk down for a couple drinks in the evening and back to our room without having to drive. Staff were very attentive. I didn’t expect the snowmobile rentals, but that was a great amenity. They’re updating the property, and I’m looking forward to seeing it fully renovated. We all had a great time and would return.

We had a great time here. It’s a nice place to spend time, with more than just the restaurant. The swimming area is nice and the rooms are really clean.

The food tastes delicious, and the fun here is just as good as the food. I felt happy after visiting with my Uncle.

I stayed on November 11, back when this was still a Ramada. I called first to ask about room availability, then booked online. Nobody told me that the pool and hot tub were closed and out of order, even though those were why I chose this hotel. I need lower back surgery, an artificial disc replacement, and my back was hurting badly. No one mentioned the closures at check-in either. If I’d known, I would have stayed somewhere else from the start. I checked out and went to the Days Inn next door, where I got a suite with a jacuzzi tub. I’d tried to upgrade here, but was told the suite hadn’t been cleaned. I’m a retired hotel manager, and I believe the hotel should tell customers when something unusual like the pool and hot tub being out of order. The hotel, its managers, and owners failed to do that. I contacted Wyndham Customer Service and never heard back, and I’ve had no response from the hotel’s managers or owners either. They claimed to have a pool and hot tub when they didn’t, which felt like fraud and a lie. It would have been simple to disclose the closures online, over the phone, and at check-in. Now they’re changing from a Ramada under Wyndham Hotels to a Quality Inn & Suites under Choice Hotels, apparently to get away from the bad reputation and negative reviews. I encourage anyone who’s had a bad experience in the last two years under the new ownership to repost their reviews. The general manager is pathetic and lazy, ignores customer service problems and complaints, and should be fired. Beware of this ownership and management team, liars, con artists, and fraudsters. Stay somewhere else!
