For an affordable place to get a six-hour nap before a morning flight to Vegas, it did what I needed. The staff were friendly, and the price was the main draw. The building feels worn and due for a full refresh, though. There are several repairs to do, and it could use a deep clean. Walking around gave me the impression the handyman may be more handy-ish than handy. It works for budget pre-flight lodging, as long as you don't inspect it too closely.

The room was the dirtiest hotel room I've ever seen, and the property felt unsafe. When we plugged in the heater, the electrical outlet was melted and it smelled like burning electrical within five minutes. We were told we wouldn't get a refund, even though the place seemed unsafe for us and everyone attending. One star feels far too generous.

We had clean, comfortable rooms, and the hot breakfast was pretty good. I felt safe walking downtown alone at night. We were there in October, so the outdoor pool being closed for the season was no surprise. The shower pressure could've been stronger, but it was good value for the money.

The room was pretty gross: stained sheets, pieces missing from the toilet seat, and filthy vents and window seals. At the price, it feels more like a $50 hotel. Check-in was fast, and the elevator smell other reviewers mention is real, though the elevator works. The parking garage seemed sketchy, with permit notices everywhere but no permit mentioned at the front desk, and the entrance is very narrow. The extra star is for being right beside the Christmas stroll.

We got two connecting rooms after the front desk helped us pick an arrangement for our two families. Ours faced the pool area, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. Bars and restaurants are nearby, while fast food takes about a 5-10 minute drive. Parking's free, and it was a convenient, affordable stay.
