Best Western Green Bay Inn Conference Center

Breakfast had lots of options, but this stay wasn't as good as I remembered. We could hear screaming from the loud pool area at 11 pm when we were trying to sleep. There's no elevator to the upstairs rooms, and the toilet and sink are very low. The sheets and towels were stained, the pillows were tiny half pillows, and the blanket was very thin. The bed was so uncomfortable that even walking down the stairs after breakfast was difficult.

The rooms look great and brand new, and we usually like staying here for the convenient location. But lately things have been going downhill. The pool area was freezing, and the roof leaked into the tub and other parts of the pool. Our toddler was shaking too much to swim, so we used the room's bathtub instead. It had no plug option, and there was no way to fill it without running the shower.

The staff are the highlight here. Everyone from the front desk and maintenance crew to the woman making breakfast and omelets was terrific. The pool and hot tub are great, and there's ping pong and a TV in the pool area, all decorated with football gear. The hotel restaurant is good, with lots of choices and plenty of room. Tuesday is 25-cent wing night. For a Packers trip, the location is hard to beat, close to Lambeau and within easy walking distance of four good bars and restaurants. A couple of drawbacks: the walls and ceilings are paper thin, so you hear people in nearby rooms making noise at all hours. It didn't bother me much, but it could be a deal breaker for some. The bed in our room was also lumpy, thin, and terribly uncomfortable. Still, this is where I'd stay again on future trips to Lambeau.

The room was clean, but the bed was dangerously flimsy and horribly uncomfortable. It wasn't attached to the headboard. When I leaned back against it to read, the bed slid out and I got folded between it and the headboard, hurting my neck. I called the front desk and got, “I don't know what to tell you.” They offered to send maintenance and said a manager would check in the next morning or when we checked out. Maintenance never came, the manager never showed or contacted me, and nobody even apologized. I had to sleep sitting up, and I'm in a lot of pain today. I wouldn't stay here, especially with mobility issues. The rooms are hazardous, and the whole experience was awful. I debated posting this, but the hotel didn't take responsibility. I'm from Wisconsin, staying at a Wisconsin hotel, and expected basic manners.
