Comfort Inn Green River National Park Area

We stayed here in December 2023 while moving across the country, and picked the hotel because parking our giant U-Haul would be easy. The rooms and hotel were clean, the staff were really nice, and we enjoyed the free breakfast. A few days after we arrived at our new place, I realized my daughter had left my mini backpack with my wallet in the breakfast area. I called in a panic, and they confirmed it was there. My cards, ID, and probably $250 cash were all inside. They mailed it to our new address within days, with nothing missing. I was so relieved and grateful for their honesty and help. Even years later, I'm glad they took care of us.

The king suite felt like a living room, with a sofa, chairs, and coffee table facing the TV, plus a dining table. At most Comfort Inns, the suite sofa is off to the side, away from the TV, so you end up watching from bed. The hotel was clean and updated, the bed was extremely comfortable, and the walk-in shower was lovely. The front desk staff were friendly and welcoming. This is our new favorite Comfort Inn.

I wanted to comment on accessibility, since other reviews cover different things. I was hugely pleasantly surprised. Accessibility in Southern Utah can be hit or miss, with plenty of places blatantly discriminating. Here there are lots of accessible parking spaces, no steps, and wide hallways. The ADA rooms and bathrooms are thoughtfully laid out and roomy enough for wheelchairs. The room doors are heavy, but all the other doors are automatic. The pool and hot tub also have lifts or chairs, and the staff asked the right questions about my service dog.

We stayed two nights in two rooms with the family, stopping on our way home to Colorado to see Goblin State Park and the surrounding area. The rooms were clean, the beds comfortable, and breakfast was hot and plentiful. The dining area is tight and fills quickly for a hotel this size. It was good value for the price, but I'd rather stay somewhere that makes us feel welcome. The old lady at the desk was less than welcoming when we arrived, right on the edge of rude. Hospitality might not be the right line of work for her.
