Comfort Inn Green Valley I-19

Both rooms had a terrible mildew smell. We were first given room 106, then asked to move and got the same nasty smell in room 116. We decided to leave, but the hotel refused to refund us. Save yourself the time and money and look elsewhere, unless you want to risk getting sick.

This is my second business stay here, and I appreciate that the rooms are clean and don't smell. Being right off the 19 and quiet is a bonus. The gentleman working this morning was very kind and accommodating at breakfast and when I checked out. And did I mention they had waffles?

I wasn't sure about staying at this kind of hotel since I hadn't tried one before, but I was pleasantly surprised. There was plenty of parking, and the no-frills lobby suited me fine. My second-floor room was very clean and quiet, with a mini fridge and microwave. The toiletries weren't branded, so I was glad I'd brought my own. The treadmill in the small fitness room was broken, but the elliptical and recumbent bike worked. I enjoyed breakfast each morning. Nothing fancy, but the fruit was fresh, the waffles were tasty, and the coffee was hot. I work in Green Valley every quarter and will definitely stay here from now on.

Green Valley turned out to be a nice little town, not the dump I expected. The hotel was decent, comfortable, clean, and felt safe. I skipped breakfast both days, but the Chinese food dinners were pretty good.
