Hilton Garden Inn Washington DC/Greenbelt

Snow forced the venue for the 50-person meeting I was hosting to cancel, but we found a room at the Hilton Garden Inn with less than a day's notice. The manager was responsive and easy to work with, and the price was very reasonable. The lobby and meeting space were lovely and suited us well. I'm grateful to the friendly, helpful staff.

On the night of 3/4/26, I booked as a diamond member and chose a room in the app, only to be told by phone it wasn't available and I'd get another one. It took six calls before the woman picked up. She initially acted like she didn't know why the digital key wasn't working, then admitted the owner/general manager had turned off both Apple Pay and digital keys, so we had to show up in person. I asked to cancel, but she said the owner/general manager wouldn't allow it and I'd be charged the full price. She said I could speak to him in the morning. After eight years as a Hilton customer, I've never had service this terrible. I'll stick with the hotels I usually use when visiting, and I wouldn't recommend this location for many more reasons than I've listed. I'll also be writing to corporate.

I needed a conference space for 50 people at the last minute, and this location had availability and was extremely accommodating. They got the room set up that night, and it was wonderful. The staff were great, especially Shafaq, a highly skilled professional. I can't say enough good things about this place. Five stars.

There are plenty of restaurants nearby for lunch or dinner, and getting onto the highway is easy. Parking isn't included in the booking, but you can charge it to your room. Kidus gave great service, very nice and highly professional. Breakfast was reasonably priced, and Timnit took good care of us there. The food was good too.
