Greene is such a charming little town, and we liked having breakfast at Bonnie's across the street. We were in town to visit our son at SUNY Cortland and stayed at The Sherwood Hotel. After a late hockey game, self check-in was easy. Our room was clean, had a comfortable king bed, and suited our needs. We’ll definitely come back when we visit our son at Cortland.

The building was clean, and I enjoyed the sense of history, even if some of the furnishings show their age. Our king suite was spacious and really comfortable. The self check-in directions were clear and easy to follow.

We had a relaxing birthday getaway in the bridal suite. The jacuzzi tub, comfortable bed, quiet setting, and spacious, clean room were just what I wanted. Greg welcomed us, showed us around the beautiful hotel, and shared a little of its history. Booking with Chelsea was a breeze, and she made sure we had what we needed. It was easy to reserve, staff communication was excellent, and we had no issues. There were several local food options for any meal. I’d stay here again.

The hotel’s history and the charm of Greene were captivating. My wife and I stayed just one night. The room was clean, but dated, and the carpet needs replacing. Check-in was simple, with communication kept open.
