The restaurant food is amazing and the prices are good, and the morning muffins in the lobby are incredible. The staff are always friendly, and the rooms are spacious and very clean. This was my second stay, and I love it here. I can't wait to come back. Highly recommend the general Morgan inn to anyone visiting Greeneville.

We came away from dinner already looking forward to returning on our next trip. The food was divine: both the filet and chicken were cooked just right, and the server's helpful suggestions and attentive service made the evening even better. The quiet setting was a lovely place to unwind and catch up after a long day. We had the Filet Mignon with a baked potato, whiskey-infused carrots, and spinach, plus the Tavern Onion Soup. The Chicken Schnitzel came with their loaf of magical bread and sweet butter. Southern Berry Tea was delightful, and the mixed drinks were made perfectly. The Brumley Restaurant & Lounge sits inside the historic General Morgan Inn on Main Street in downtown Greeneville. At the entrance, we were warmly welcomed at the hostess station beside the bar and intimate lounge. There are three dining rooms, each decorated to reflect the hotel's history and era. Thanks to the chef for such an incredible meal!

Our mystery tour group of 48+ mostly “vintage people” spent two nights here while we toured the areas, and it's definitely worth a stay. Downtown, the hotel is surrounded by vintage and historic buildings. The staff were professional and cordial. The place was really clean, but it doesn't have that supposedly sterilized feeling of a modern hotel. It's got character, vintage elegance, and doesn't feel stuffy.

The Christmas decorations were stunning and tasteful, and the facilities were spotless and comfortable. We had the chance to stay last weekend and found it an incredible place, with polite, courteous, efficient staff. It felt like stepping back in time while still having modern luxuries. We live in North Georgia and will go out of our way to stay here again. A wonderful weekend, thank you, General Morgan.

Elegant, roomy, and clean and fresh, with a luxurious historical feel. The only issue was the adjoining room's communicating doors. They don't block or even muffle sound, and we could hear every word of the other occupants' conversation far into the night. It made it hard to fall asleep.
