Marriott Greensboro Airport

The room was very clean, and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. I slept comfortably on the bed, but the pillows were flat. Even doubled up, I struggled to position my head without making my neck hurt.

I was flying out early from GSO and chose this hotel for its location, then ended up pleasantly surprised by the whole stay. The hotel was pretty full, so it wasn't just me choosing it. My renovated room was clean, and the staff were great. Having a lounge is a big plus since those are hard to find. The shuttle was prompt, clean, and efficient. When I left something really important in the room, Front Office Manager Alvette Kingsberry took great care of me. Appreciate the stay, and I'll be back.

The room itself was nice, but I booked a balcony room and was told I had been upgraded to a junior king suite without a balcony. I appreciate the recognition of my status, but the extra floor space meant little when the balcony was the feature I wanted. When I asked the front desk about it, they showed little concern about fixing the issue. The pool was also closed for a private event, even though nobody was using it, which was disappointing. Getting to the hotel was inconvenient too, since one entrance was closed and access was limited to the other. I probably won't choose this location again. They also charged me $10 for parking without telling me beforehand.

The room was clean, and we were glad to be close to the airport after the snowstorms. The front desk staff were kind, helpful, and apologetic about what happened, though it wasn't their place to apologize for their supervisor. Alvia, who said she was the manager, was aggressive and very rude to us at check-in. We tried calling to report the incident, but the same woman answered. We've never experienced such unprofessional staff at a Marriott. Hope you have a better experience.
