The people here made the stay feel like home during Christmas. The breakfast was great, and when I came downstairs just for coffee, the ladies were so sweet and encouraged me to eat. One asked how I liked my eggs without me even asking. The front desk was kind and helped me find water. Housekeeping knocked so gently, then a young man and woman with a clipboard checked whether I wanted the room cleaned or needed towels, soap, or anything else. They were lovely. There was noise from another room at 3 a.m., apparently from a tour bus, but I can understand that people were happy and tired. The rooms were very nice and clean, and I’ll stay again. I’ve been in five-star hotels, and this whole staff was A-list. You couldn’t ask for a better place.

I’m in Greenville often and keep coming back to the Holiday Inn Express on Woodruff Road. It’s in a handy spot near restaurants and shopping, the rooms are consistently clean, and the staff are friendly. Miss Toni in the dining hall is the best part for me. She’s professional but so personable, and she makes breakfast feel like you’re at your favorite aunt’s house. I always look forward to it. Five stars for the Holiday Inn Express on Woodruff Road, and Miss Toni gets 10 😊

The bed was wonderful, and I’ve never slept on more comfortable pillows. My room was clean and really nice, and the breakfast was REALLY good, with fresh coffee each morning and lots of creamer choices. Jeanie at the front desk was fantastic during my three-night stay through the ice storm. She was sweet and went out of her way to help.

We had a clean, comfortable place to come back to after the SEC women’s basketball tournament, and there was a nice common area where our pep band could hang out together. There’s also plenty to do within walking distance. Room service accidentally tossed a grocery bag I’d left near the trash, but I mentioned it to the front desk and they reimbursed me right away.

Nice bed, clean hotel, and friendly staff. There’s no microwave in the room, breakfast isn’t included, and the turn into the parking lot is odd. Parking is limited, too.
